WWRM – MAGIC 94-9

OFFICIAL RULES – August 27, 2012

  1.       NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

2.       SPONSORS:   WWRM Radio will give away 12 prizes during the Private, Acoustic performance with David Cook contest.  The primary geographic area covered by this contest is the West Central Florida (Tampa Bay) area.  Contest void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law.  Copies of the official rules are available at mymagic949.com.

3.       HOW TO ENTER/ENTRY DEADLINE:

Listen to WWRM beginning August 28, 2012 for the specified contest cue to call in the Magic Morning Show, for your  chance to call in and win. The first day to win is August 28, 2012.  The last day to win is no later than Wednesday, September 5, 2012.  There will be no prize awarded on Monday, September 3, 2012 because it is a holiday (Labor Day).  Prizes will only be awarded on weekdays, not weekends.

4. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:

You must be 18 years old or older to enter.  You must live in the Tampa Bay area and be a Florida resident. One prize winner per household allowed.   Employees of Cox Radio, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, print or promotion agencies and the immediate families of each are not eligible to win.  The term “immediate families” includes only spouses, parents and children.

5.       SELECTION OF WINNERS:               

Winners will be selected as follows:  The designated caller after the specified cue to call will win an invitation for two to attend a private, acoustic performance by David Cook in the FCCU Theatre at Cox Media Group, Tampa on Friday, September 7, 2012, plus two passes to SummerFest, 9/8/12 in Curtis Hixon Park, Tampa.  WWRM will begin taking calls when the cue to call is announced.  We reserve the right to also give additional prizes away via our Magic 94-9 Facebook page. You must “like” the Magic 94-9 Facebook page in order to be able to read instructions on when to call, to when tickets.

6.       PRIZES:    WWRM reserves the sole discretion to select prizes.  There will be approximately 12 prizes, awarded over a 7-weekday period.  The winners must come to WWRM to receive their prize.  Where applicable, winners are responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes or fees on prizes.  Prizes are not transferable.

7.       CONDITIONS OF WINNING:  

Prize winners agree to the use of their name, photo likeness and/or voice for the purpose of    trade or other promotional purposes without compensation.  As a condition of receiving a prize, the winner must come to WWRM where they must show photo identification and complete and sign the a Prize Receipt & Release Form (see attached). In order to receive the 2 Summerfest tickets, the winner must attend the private, acoustic performance by David Cook in the FCCU Theatre on 9/7/12. 

8.   ODDS OF WINNING:  will depend on the number of actual participating listeners. 

There will be 12 total chances to win the prize.

9.       WINNERS LIST:  WWRM will disclose winners as required by law.  For a list of winners, send a separate self-addressed stamped envelope to “David Cook Winners,” c/o WWRM, 11300 4^th Street N., Suite 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33716.

10.   MISCELLANEOUS:   By entering the contest, each contestant agrees to release WWRM, Cox Radio, their parent corporations, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, suppliers, directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, actions or proceedings arising out of and/or injuries or damages sustained in connection with the use of the prize.  WWRM and Cox Radio are not responsible for any taxes, liabilities or damages which may arise from the awarding of any and all prizes.
