It’s that time again! Parents of recent grads are sending their children into the big, wide world to live on their own, either in an apartment or dorm room, but nonetheless, without the comforts and cooking of home. If this is you, was you or will be you in the next few years, you might appreciate this nice letter from Kristina…
Tonight I heard you talking about mothers and their children going off to college. My mother has always been preparing to send me off to college at 18, but she was blindsided when at 16, I was accepted at a school for the Arts & Humanities. For college, I was originally planning to attend the university which is only an hour away from where I live.
Now, two years early, for my junior and senior years in high school, she and daddy are sending me away to school about three and a half hours away. I will be leaving soon, and this past week it has finally hit her.
She listens to your show every night. She would sing to me when I was in a car seat and leave words out so I had to fill in the blanks. (Sweet, huh?) If you do happen to read this, there's a good chance that mama would be listening. I love you Mama! “Your ray of freaking sunshine." Kristina
