Hello my friends, and thanks for your patience. I’ve been a little MIA from Kelly’s Kitchen this week, due to a nice case of "whatever’s going around." But since we have the weekend on the way, I wanted to pass on a few items for your consideration, while I do more research of feeding a cold and starving a fever, or vice versa. It’s the first Sunday of the month, and the Hyde Park Fresh Market will be open. A long weekend is a great reason so spend some extra time in the Circle and find something special for the cookout. Or to just enjoy a Sunday that will be even better since you don’t have to get up Monday for work. I’d love to see your photos from the Market. Send those along to ann.kelly@coxinc.com. Made a new friend on Facebook, and we’ll be welcoming Andonia Elefteriou to Kelly’s Kitchen soon for a demonstration of her fine Greek cooking and the perfect wine to go with it. Andonia has a big heart when it comes to helping others, and she’s organizing the Greek Street Food and Wine Festival coming up October 19th - 21st at St Nicholas Cathedral in Tarpon Springs. The special touch here is the opportunity to meet with local pet rescue groups, and perhaps find a new friend. They’re also looking for anyone interested in becoming a vendor at the Festival. I also read an interesting article on a food friend from Cleveland that’s been featured in Kelly’s Kitchen - Matt Fish, the founder of Melt Bar and Grilled.
