If you purchased an e-book from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple or Kobo between April 1, 2010 and May 21, 2012 you could be getting between 30 cents to $1.32 refund per book! (Or as Chadd put it...about 2 1/2 cents per shade of gray.)
It's part of a $69 million dollar settlement brought against publisher for price-fixing!
Now...here's the fine print. Oh boy.
You can get the refund as a credit or you can request a check.
If you purchased from Amazon, Apple, B & N or Kobo they'll notify you via email (make sure you check your spam!)
If you purchased from Google, Sony or some other company, you'll have to file the claim yourself. Deadline to file is December 12. Click here.
And finally...this is ALL contingent upon the courts approval which won't come for a few months.
Good luck. I'm going to be there waiting for the answer with you.
