Nate Carroll of Winneconne, Wisconsin, has done more than a million pushups.

Carroll broke the record for most pushups done in a year unofficially on Sunday at the 50-yard line during the 48th annual Fun City Bowl at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.

He did his 1,500,231st pushup during halftime at the game between New York City first responders.

The feat still needs to be confirmed by Guinness World Records and the Record Holders Republics Registry of Official World Records, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.

Though hitting the more than 1.5 million pushup milestone would be a great time to give his arms a rest, Carroll isn’t stopping.

He’s adding to his total as he still has a few more days to go to hit his yearlong mark.

Carroll has pushup endurance.

He says he averages about 4,100 pushups a day and on some occasions does 7,000 to raise money for The Stephen Siller Tunnels to Towers Foundation, WGBA reported.

The foundation’s Fallen First Responder Home program pays the mortgages for and has given housing to 250 families since it started in 2014.

Siller was a New York City firefighter who died on Sept. 11, 2001.

The foundation helps the families of first responders killed in the line of duty.

Guinness World Records officials will investigate Carroll’s pushup record by collecting video, letters and interviews to confirm the record was broken, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.

Currently the record is held by Paddy Doyle who broke it in October 1989.
