Seems kinda...basic.

National sandwich day is THIS SUNDAY so you need to celebrate, but with what?!

A poll by SWNS has ranked what America says the BEST sandwich is, and here’s the results!

1.  Grilled cheese.  42%,

2.  Chicken sandwiches, 40%. 

3.  Turkey, 30%.

4.  Ham, 27%.

5.  Tuna, 24%.

6.  Egg sandwich, 21%. 

7.  Peanut butter and jelly, 21%.

8.  Meatball subs, 19%.

Grilled CHEESE took the number one spot! I guess sometimes simplicity is the key to success. In Tampa Bay, I think we would argue a Cuban needs to be somewhere on this list.

Now there is one more important question when it comes to sandwiches, how do you cut it?

Well, 32% prefer them cut in half . . . 35% said diagonal . . . and 33% prefer to leave their sandwich intact. So there you have it!
