Kicking Off Radiothon Season with Heart: Honoring the Kids of Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital

This past weekend marked the official start of our Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Radiothon era, and there truly couldn’t have been a more meaningful way to begin.

We spent the day doing what matters most—showing up for the kids. From the moment we arrived, the energy was filled with joy, love, and purpose. There were surprise visits from Stormtroopers, plenty of Chick-fil-A smiles, hands-on activities, and so many moments of laughter that reminded us just how powerful community can be.

But the moments that stayed with me the most were the quiet ones, the conversations.

I had the honor of sitting down to interview some of the most awe-inspiring kids and patients, hearing their stories firsthand. These are children whose lives were quite literally saved because of the care, research, and compassion provided at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. They are strong, brave, resilient—and truly heroes in every sense of the word.

As we head toward Radiothon, one thing is crystal clear:💙 It’s the donors.💙 It’s the philanthropy.💙 It’s the community.

That’s what gives these kids a chance at survival. That’s what gives them a childhood. That’s what gives them the opportunity to grow up, dream big, and live healthy, hope-filled lives.
