‘Degrassi’ actor Jahmil French dies (NCD)

Jahmil French, who appeared on the show “Degrassi,” has died.

He was 29, Extra reported.

News of French’s death was shared on social media by his former co-stars.

Melinda Shankar, who played his girlfriend in the show, called him “one of the most talented, compassionate, kindest, funniest friends I have.”

Chloe Rose said she was still in shock.

In addition to “Degrassi,” French appeared in Netflix’s “Soundtrack,” according to Entertainment Tonight’s Canadian show.

French’s cause of death has not been released, Entertainment Tonight reported.
