Mid days 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Magic 94-9 is Keith Connors. Keith is the assistant program director, and has been in radio since his days at The State University Of West Georgia. There, he caught the radio bug and started doing morning shows for over 20 years in Atlanta, Charlotte, St Pete, Nashville, and Birmingham.
Outside of radio, most of what Keith does revolves around his family. He calls himself "an Atlanta boy" but was actually born in South Amboy, New Jersey and says he is "thrilled" to be back in the Tampa Bay area because "It's our favorite place on the planet." His wife, Lisa is a realtor, and they have three daughters - Kaleigh , Kristen (she was born in St Pete), and the youngest, Kartis Ann. Their life revolves around soccer, horses, the outdoors, and the family's two dogs, Ollie and Nikki The Wonder Dog.
Connors says, "I really love meeting Magic listeners. It's cool learning about their lives and being involved in a positive way. I'm corny and old fashioned, but believe that by simply putting a smile on someone's face as a DJ, or helping in a meaningful way with a charity is a great opportunity."
Keith has always been connected to charitable efforts - including JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), National Multiple Sclerosis Society , and Special Olympics. He's helped raise over a million dollars for the Leukemia Society, collected over 10,000 toys for the Department of Family and Children's Services. He also has done fundraisers for Autism Speaks, The Safe House for Women, The American Heart Association, Jerry's Kids, and the Humane Society.
Hobbies include: Stand up Paddle boarding, Motorcycle Rides, Running, and The Beach.
