Del Monte says they’ve been working on their ‘Pinkglow Pineapple’ since 2005 and they’re finally ready for us to enjoy the fruits of their labor (pun intended)...
In addition to being super pretty, Del Monte says these pineapples also have some other pretty exciting qualities - they’re apparently more sweet than your typical pineapple...
But before you rush off to the store, you might wanna hear how much they cost.
Since these pineapples are so rare (they’re each hand-picked and it takes about 2 years to grow one in the jungles of Costa Rica)...you’ll have to shell out $49 if you want one.
And no, that was not a misprint. FORTY NINE DOLLARS.
Also, you can’t just run to the store and grab one for your next party, because they’re only available online.
