It’s Alexia, your midday bestie here! I had the opportunity to spend time at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, sitting down with some of the most inspiring doctors, executives, and truly incredible humans—and I left feeling so humbled and so proud of our Tampa Bay community.
One of the most meaningful moments of the day was getting to meet Miles. His strength, his smile, and his story stopped me in my tracks. Hearing his journey and the impact this hospital has had on his life is something I’ll never forget and I cannot wait to share his story with you very soon.
I also had the chance to hear directly from the people behind the care, the doctors, researchers, and leaders whose passion fuels the hospital’s mission. Learning the why behind their work and seeing the real-life impact made possible through the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Foundation was truly eye-opening. From groundbreaking research to education and life-changing resources for families, the work happening inside those walls is nothing short of extraordinary.
What really struck me is how far that impact reaches. This hospital doesn’t just serve families here in Tampa Bay, it helps children and families across the country. It’s a one-of-a-kind institution, and we are unbelievably lucky to have it right here in our own backyard.
