Mango Avocado Salsa

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and diced
  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled, pitted, and diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced (adjust amount to taste)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Preparation:
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced mangoes, diced avocados, finely chopped red onion, minced jalapeño pepper, and chopped cilantro.
  • Dressing:
    Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mixing:
    Gently toss all ingredients together until well combined.
  • Chilling:
    Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Serve:
    Serve chilled as a refreshing salsa alongside grilled meats or as a topping for tacos.
